When looking at the Hermetic Tree of Life, we are discussing the 10 Sephiroth that were taken originally from the Jewish Kabbalah. We are not including the contemporary non-Sephira “Da’at”. The Triad includes the top 3 Sephiroth; Kether, Chokmah, Binah. These are the Supernals and originally didn’t have a Planetary Alignment Save for Saturn with Binah. The Alignment with Chokmah is the Zodiac, where as Kether is the 1^st swirlings. It has been a contemporary mind tease within the Western Mystery Tradition to make Planetary connections not only with Chokmah & Kether, but for Da’at as well.

Below this Triad, we find the remaining 7 Sephiroth. These are often referred to as the 7 Spheres. This is because each Sephiroth is associated with a body within the Solar System. These may also be called the Planetary Spheres. The Bottom Sphere is Malkuth & is associated with Earth. Above that we Yesod, the Moon. Traveling to the right is Hod, Mercury. Directly across we have Netzach, Venus. In the center of the tree, just above Yesod is Tiphareth, the Sun. Following through to the Left is Geburah, Mars. Across to the right (if looking at the image) is Chesed, Jupiter.
